​Natalia Revelles López was born in Córdoba on October 12, 1983, into a family closely connected to the arts. Her grandfather, Mario López, a poet and painter who was a member of the renowned group Cántico, had a significant influence on the artist’s childhood. Her mother, who studied Fine Arts at the University of Granada, instilled in her a love for artistic creation from various perspectives. These influences led Natalia to develop her artistic abilities and begin her studies in 2001 at the Faculty of Fine Arts Alonso Cano, following the path of her mother and grandfather. After graduating in 2006, she took part in several collective exhibitions where her inclination for nature and portraiture became evident.

After this initial period, the artist was given the opportunity to showcase her talents in her grandfather's hometown through a local artist exhibition in Bujalance. This exhibition represented a challenge for Natalia, as she portrayed her grandmother, María del Valle, with a strong sense of realism, subtly referencing the work of Mario López. Later, she participated in “Otoño Decorao,” where she made a slight shift in her approach by presenting three watercolors of animals in a more abstract style, where color dominated against black ink backgrounds.

After a brief hiatus, during which Natalia focused on her teaching career, her painting continued its process of exploration and maturation. In 2020, she began a project that led to the emergence of her own unique style based on her personal life philosophy. Her particular obsession with the human mind, instinct, and consciousness inspired her to create portraits that blend into nature through the fluidity of paint and spontaneous brushstrokes. This work culminated in her first solo exhibition in November 2022 at the La Platea cultural center in Alhaurín de la Torre.

In another more experimental line, she works with mixed media, collage, and printmaking in floral landscapes and purely abstract compositions. Her artistic style is notable for its characteristic use of light and color, where fluorescent tones enhance the contrasts.
